Alimens & Gentle Men’s Button Down Regular Fit Long Sleeve Plaid Flannel Casual Shirts with red and black pattern is currently the most sought after flannel shirt on Amazon as of January, 2021.
Unlike other Flannel shirts, this flannel is of a good quality, fashionable and well constructed (very nicely made especially for this price. Ultimately I feel like this shirt is going to last for years to come with very little maintenance needed to keep it looking great.
Material is good quality (but the fabric is not 100% cotton like the description on Amazon says i.e. it has maybe 65% cotton 35% polyester blend). The Alimens & Gentle website says it is cotton and polyester. The shirt label also says 100% cotton (which is not true).
Surprisingly, I noticed little to no shrinking after the wash (hand wash, machine wash cold, tumble dry low). It kept its shape well too and the flaps on the pockets didn’t get folded back or dog-eared.
I washed it like I do all my clothes in cold water. I hung it up to dry, I rarely use a dryer. There was absolutely no shrinking and was wrinkle free. The polyester on this shirt is not typical flannel i.e. it doesn’t pill!. The colors are bright and have not faded at all after several times of washing and drying.
Material doesn’t require any ironing after washing.
These are perhaps the highest quality flannel shirts of this type that I have ever purchased from Amazon. The fit is perfect, with a little room available for shrinkage, and the cut, feel, thickness, button stitching, cuff length, etc. are simply fabulous.
The classic plaid pattern and casual button down style, provide you relax casual feeling.
Its fits true to size And regular fit style makes you feel good and comfortable when wearing with good amount of shoulder room for someone who has broad shoulders.
This flannel shirt is of medium thickness and breathable (i.e. not too thick, not too thin i.e.) closer to the thickness of a denim shirt. Its lighter weight than most flannel and can be worn year round- layer a long sleeve under for winter, layer a tank under for spring.
It’s comfortable and makes you feel lots of warmth, perfect for cold weather. Very fashionable. AND the shirt is long enough to stay tucked in!
The pockets are a good size and provide a lot of utility; the two styles of pocket design ( one left pocket and both side pockets available) are produced with 10oz Thick flannel fabric i.e. they’re not just decorative which I really appreciate.
The buttons are securely attached and seem like they will hold up for a long time. It has two buttons on the cuff to adjust for wrist size; a button for the sleeve slit. It also comes with an extra buttons.
However i also noticed that buttons were a little smaller which makes it a little hard to button as its hard to find small button holes.
All in all, this is the best flannel shirt I’ve come across. Got lots of compliments.
In my opinion, this flannel shirt was specifically designed for persons or couples who wish to make a fashion statement with a low budget item.
I highly recommend this flannel shirt (especially the type with red and black pattern) to anybody who is thinking about getting it!!!!.
