Just like its big brother (the DiamondBoxx Model XL2), DiamondBoxx Model M3 also outputs amazing sound no matter what genre of music you’re playing. In my opinion, sound is little more bright than most others out there, with an extreme emphasis on separation of instruments hence anyone who values clarity & concise playback from recordings will truly fall in love with DiamondBoxx Model M3.
The bass stays clean at every volume, the mid’s and high’s crisp, clear and beautiful. If you’re looking for a boomy bass speaker, this IS NOT the speaker for you.

At max volume, DiamondBoxx Model M3 produces 113 decibels; which is BOOMING loud for any party (with crystal clear vocals and highs, distortion free even at max volume).Simply put, you can turn the volume to maximum and still not have any cracking or distortion.
Some happy customers as well as Youtubers have testified that DiamondBoxx Model M3 is louder than the top rated JBL boom Box. Some of the other speakers considered and auditioned were the JBL Party Box, the offerings from Marshall, Bose and the Aiwa Exos 9. None of these speakers were as loud nor as clear/pure sounding as the M3.
I usually keep the DiamondBoxx Model M3 at about 60-70% volume at most, and this is loud enough that we are basically yelling over the speaker to talk. I mean, Loud enough that you have to turn it down to talk to someone next to you, but not loud enough to hurt your ears.
At maximum volume, it goes loud enough that it might even be considered uncomfortably loud to a 1/2 deaf person. So you can also host a party for people with hard of hearing with this speaker. I have mine in my 10′ by 10′ office & I have it only turned up between 1/3 & 1/2 & it’s like being at a concert. I could not believe how pure the sound was. It didn’t matter whether I was listening to Hard Rock, Jazz, or Classical. The bass is a monster with absolutely no distortion no matter how high you turn it.
Summarily, the sound is loud, clear and well balanced requiring no EQ app…more so because the Diamondboxx Model M3 is equipped with Bass and Treble analog tone controls. So you can tailor the sound to your ear.
For my taste and without adjusting the treble and bass for every song, I found I like the treble set around 11 o’clock and the bass around 3 o’clock.
The quality and volume of sound that this box produces is very impressive! Even as I moved 90 degrees left and right of the speaker it still sounded great. Placed centrally in my 2200 sq ft home this speaker is easily heard (and still pretty loud)in every room.The sound is very clear and accurate and the stereo separation is quite remarkable for a single Bluetooth speaker.
A lot of Bluetooth speakers have a muffled quality to them lot of bass no dynamic sound. But this speaker here takes that muffled veil off and gives a clarity to music.
Summarily, if you are looking for impressive ear damaging painful levels of distorted volume, this is not the speaker for you. If you are looking for a speaker with impressive room/ear filling beautiful tones and music, in a mobile small package…. This is the one.

One of the interesting things about this speaker, is the fact that it will get loud and presumably run off battery for a long time (i.e. up to 20 hours of battery play time).
